more_than_meets_the_eyeMeets the Eye

When it comes to Kyusho there is more than meets the eye... there is so much that most take for granted.  But if you actually put in the time and work with it, the realities reveal themselves.

When we look at the natural structures as opposed to man made theorems and models, we gain far more insight as well as possibility and skill.

Don't shortchange yourself in your education, work correctly from direct observation and experience.

That is what we are here to help you find.

saphenous-1What you see

Lets focus on the lower leg for this example... we see that there is a plethora of meridians, pressure points and possible cycles for those that mistakenly follow them.  We can see 3 lines on the lower legs, and even without extraordinary points or miscellaneous points there are a couple of dozen targets, with several sets of rules according to the cycles and other TCM mandates.

This is a man made model, not natural human structure.

SaphenousNerveThe Reality

Now look at the illustration of the inner shin, the green line presented is the Saphenous nerve and it's branches, they are the same nerve and will direct the input to the same aspects of the brain.

It does not matter if it is labeled Kidney, Or Liver or Spleen, as it is all the same nerve... but that's not all, the are no specific points that you must concentrate on to get an effect as we can see the nerve runs all the way up the crease from the ankle to the knee.  So you can hit virtually anywhere on the nerve (if done correctly) or a branch to get the same results.
